I've got the travel bug

While the dental world is soaking in the spring time tradition of "spring break" (though we have just recovered from the latest freeze) all have fled San Antonio while I've found myself stuck here for the week's break. I originally was supposed to be in Washington DC this week, but some bummer circumstances have me here. Alas, I have been day dreaming about all the places I could be instead of stuck up in my apartment. So, here's what I've come up with so far for US locations (don't even get me started on international vacations!). What would I love from all lurking or non-lurking readers? Advice, tips, yahs or nahs.
Ever been to??:

Oregon:

Now that my brother lives in Eugene, its the perfect reason for me to finally make it up to this part of the country.

I'm thinking summer time hikes, winery visits, picnics, local breweries, riding bikes around town.

Santa Fe & Albuquerque New Mexico:

I've always been drawn to the rustic and natural feel of New Mexico. I love how it feels like a desert, has its own unique architecture, you can ski in the winter, hike mountains in the summer, holds onto such a special culture in a such a great way, I could go on and on.

And I feel this way having only been to Taos (a complete tourist town) and only have driven through the rest. Still...I am so intrigued by this state!

New Orleans:

Amazing food, drinks, nightlife, and then more food! Do I need to say anything more?

Washington DC:

I got so excited about walking up and down the national mall, strolling through Georgetown, museums upon museums, feeling important walking around the Capital. So maybe since I couldn't make it now in the cold, it means the next time I could go will be for the cherry blossoms!
